1. ENCOUNTER

In our current series, ENCOUNTER, we are presented with people whose defining moment in life was their encounter with God. Today we look at the story of Isaac and Rebekah.

2.DECK THE HALLS

Tis the season to decorate the church for the holidays. This Monday, Nov. 16, 11AM-10PM, Tuesday, Nov. 17, 9AM-9PM
and Wednesday, Nov. 18, 9AM-4PM.  Pizza will be served Monday night. Both men and women are welcome to par-
ticipate with whatever time they have available.

3.LORD’S SUPPER

November 22nd will be a special service as we observe the Lord’s Supper during our morning worship hours. When we
take part in this ordinance together, it’s a time for us to evaluate where we stand before the Lord. These moments of
evaluation are times of great victory as we seek to receive the forgiveness of God and recommit to following Jesus with all our hearts. 

4.CHRISTMAS SHARING ‘09

We’ve begun our Christmas Sharing Project for our Street Reach Ministry. If you are interested in purchasing a gift for kids or adopting a family, you can get the information through your Sunday School class or contact Deana Young at alwayoung@aol.com or Lisa Wilson, lwilson@highstreet.org, 862-5502. You may also make a donation by earmarking your
check or offering envelope: Street Reach Christmas Sharing. All gifts and donations need to be in by Sunday, Dec. 8th.

5.CHURCH-WIDE PRAYER SERVICE

Sunday, December 6, at 6:00PM in the Main Auditorium. We will be meeting together for a time of prayer. Childcare will
be provided for children kindergarten and younger. Immediately following the service we will have a church fellowship.
